On November 5, 2005 in
South Korea at K-1 Hero’s, Sylvester “Predator” Terkay and Sean O’Haire
represented Valor and impressed over 7,000 fans in attendance and MMA
fans worldwide.
In the semi
Main Event, Predator faced off against Muebai Choi in one of the most
anticipated fights of the night. There has been a lot of talk recently
about Predator being the next dominate heavyweight MMA fighter, and he
certainly quieted the critics with his victory in Korea. With this win,
and his being undefeated at K-1’s New Years Eve Dynamite Events,
Predator is scaling the ranks of the MMA world and K-1 in particular
very quickly. K-1 is proud to host the best fighters around d the
world, and Predator is certainly deserving to be in there with the best
of them. Predator defeated Muebai Choi in a unanimous decision after 2
rounds of brutalizing his opponent, and left a serious impression on the
fighting community. Who will be the next victim of The Predator? Only
time will tell.
Sean O’Haire
fought a great fight against Kim Min-Soo, who was a 1996 Silver Medalist
in Judo, but came out on the short end on this night. O’Haire fought a
good fight, but right before the bell in the first round, he was caught
in a front choke and lost one of the more exciting fights on this
night. O’Haire won over the fans and proved he belongs with the elite
fighters in K-1. As O’Haire continues to gain experience in the MMA
world, he will surly begin to make his mark in the fighting community.
