VALOR'S October 2005 Fighter of the Month:

Mavrick Harvey

There are very few fighters that pack as much punch combined with the showmanship as Valor’s Mavrick.  This colorful star has fought all over the world and has made a name for himself, not for the tattooed eyebrows, or the colors draping his muscular frame, but for his raw energy when he gets inside the ring.  Mavrick is one of the nicest people you will ever meet outside of the ring, but inside, he is an animal unleashed.  His unorthodox style makes it difficult to fight against him, and he readily admits he would not want to fight himself!  Recently, Mavrick proved his dominance at a UAGF show, garnering yet another win.  From Kage Kombat Champion, to K-1 to Valor Fighting, Mavrick has done it all and garnered a strong following along the way.  As Valor traveled through California and Oregon earlier in the year, he was mobbed by fans, and his generosity saw him interact with each one, whether it be a photo, an autograph, or a complimentary DVD from the Soul Collector himself, Mavrick always made time for the people that put him where he is today.  These are a few of the reasons that Valor is proud to announce Mavrick as the October 2005 Fighter of the Month!

Below is an interview conducted with Mavrick “The Soul Collector” Harvey, which brings you inside the colorful world of the man himself.  Valor wants you, the fans, to know our fighters on a personal level, and not just world class fighters.  Our fighters are real people, down to earth, and great to all of our fans.  That is why we get you closer to the fighters than ever before.  So enjoy the read, and keep checking back for more information on Valor events, as well as more Valor Fighter profiles and features.
