Glorified bar brawlers, bastardizing every art and mastering none. Wild roundhouses and insane haymakers are pretty much the extent of the stand-up portion of any fight, with some of the most embarrassing “boxing” I’ve ever witnessed thrown in for good measure. Then there’s the WWE-style takedowns and the fumbling humping that passes for BJJ in 90% of fights…Christ what a humiliating sight.

any guy that has …
any guy that has mastered boxing, muay thai and an elite type of ground combat/defense like wrestling or brazilian jiu jitsu will own in MMA. a great example is Anderson Silva. look, the key word here is ‘mastered’. you can see guys that say they’re muay thai and boxing fighters but they ain’t that good at all in the claimed areas. examples would be Thiago Silva & Thiago Alves. the dudes aren’t good in muay thai. compare them to the Spider’ muay thai they’re like amatures. same goes for boxing,
