Eric “Butterbean” Esch

Eric “Butterbean” Esch is one of the most popular and entertaining fighters in
the world today.  Instantly recognizable by his bald head, excessive size and
his signature red, white and blue American flag fight trunks, Butterbean is quite
 the character.  Opponents know him better by his devastating punch power.
  Esch is a hard working blue-collar type.  As such, he is truly “The People’s
 Champion”.  Butterbean first made an impact as a fighter in Toughman
competitions before becoming a professional boxer.  Butterbean is earning
success and respect in the world of MMA.  Victories include a win over the
very tough Wesley “Cabbage” Correira.

Bob Sapp

David “Tank” Abbott
Height: 6’ (183 cm)

“Tank” is a true icon of MMA; and is one of the individuals who helped to put the sport on the map and popularize it.  Despite what Tito Ortiz may claim, Tank states that he is “The original Huntington Beach Bad Boy”!  He lives up to that name, as his style is self-described as “pit fighting”.  Tank’s roughhouse no-nonsense style made him unique in a world of martial artists.  Tank is extremely powerful.  In fact he has been known to bench press as much as 600 lbs.!  His power translates to devastating knockout ability; over half of his wins have come by way of knockout.

Chad “D.O.A.” Bannon
Height: 6’4” (195 cm)

Hometown: Los Angeles, California

Chad is an imposing fighter with great charisma.  Bannon was on the cast of “Battle Dome”.  He is an aggressive and exciting Heavyweight.

Mike Barton
Height: 6’3” (194 cm)
Weight: 265 lbs. (128 kg)
Hometown: Florida

Barton had a long pro wrestling career in both the U.S. and Japan.  He recently entered MMA.  Barton’s debut was a huge upset win over Wesley “Cabbage” Correira in the first round.  Mike has competed in Rumble On The Rock and Pride.  He has a good look / presence, is tough as nails and ready for his next challenge.

Tom “Green Beret” Howard
Height: 6’4” (193 cm)

 Howard, who has an extensive background in Sambo and amateur wrestling, first made a name for himself as a pro wrestler.  He performed for top promotions all over the world before deciding to test his skills in MMA. Howard has fought in K-1 and Cage Rage among other promotions.  Despite showing great heart and fighting spirit, Tom has yet to earn a victory in MMA.  This has become a personal vision quest for Howard who refuses to surrender.    

Dave “Death Wish”  Legeno

Legeno is a fixture in England’s Cage Rage events where he is very popular.  He is an actor turned fighter who appeared opposite Brad Pitt in “Snatch”.  He is nicknamed “Death wish” because he will take any fight regardless of the odds against him.  Amazingly, he earned wins over MMA legends Kimo and Dan Severn.

Kimo
Height: 6’3” (190 cm)

Kimo is a true Icon of MMA.  He is one of the warriors who first put the sport on
the map.  The 235-pound warrior from Hawaii always stood out from the pack on
account of his intense no nonsense fighting style and his signature tattoos.  Kimo,
has stepped into battle with the biggest names in the history of the sport including
Ken Shamrock, Tank Abbott, Dan Severn, and Royce Gracie.  The battle-tested
veteran continues to fearlessly step into the octagon and ring as his legacy continues
to grow.

John Marsh
Weight: 222 lbs.

Marsh is a very good heavyweight fighter who has fought in UFC and PRIDE. He has fought some of the top names such as Jeremy Horn, Ricco Rodriguez, Cabbage, and Mike Van Arsdale. He is a strong heavyweight, and is a great fight every time out!

Sean “Nightmare” O’Haire
Height: 6’6” (198 cm)
Weight: 265 lbs. (120 kg)
Hometown: Rock Hill, South Carolina

Sean is a former pro wrestler who performed in WWE and WCW.  He has a very imposing look.  Sean is Charismatic, and able to deliver entertaining interviews.  O’Haire likes to stand, making him an exciting fighter for the fans.  He has a solid kickboxing background.

Dan “The Beast” Severn
Height: 6’2” (188 cm)
Weight: 250 lbs. (113 kg)
Hometown: Coldwater, Michigan
MMA Record: 76-14-7 (win-loss-draw)

Severn is a true legend of MMA.  The 6’2” 250 pound wrestling machine is aptly nicknamed “The Beast”.   The fighting icon has been immortalized as a member of the UFC Hall Of Fame.  Prior to that, he was a dominant force in amateur and pro wrestling.  Severn is one of the most active and decorated fighters in the history of MMA

Tony “The King” Sylvester

Tony is a recent addition to the Valor Roster.  He is a fixture in Fight Fest and King Of The Cage events.  Tony has an impressive record thus far, and looks to continue his winning ways.

Cliff Tyson

Hometown: Las Vegas, NV

Cliff is the half brother of former boxing World Champion Mike Tyson.  Cliff looks like his brother and claims to have his devastating knock out power as well.

Ruben “Warpath” Villareal

The proud Native American is known for his courage; and for never backing down from a challenge.  Warpath has faced many of the biggest names in the sport including Dan "The Beast" Severn, and Don "The Predator" Frye.  Villareal took Frye to the limit in a hard fought battle that was proclaimed a draw. Recently, Warpath stepped up to the plate once again to fill in for Kimo in a fight with the legendary Bas Rutten.  Villareal took the fight with only two days notice!  Warpath claims that Mother Bear and the Eagle Spirit guide and inspire him when he steps into battle.  With his signature war paint, Villareal is one of the most colorful and imposing competitors in all of MMA today

Light Heavyweight Fighters

Taurus Cabbab
Height: 5’11”
Weight: 205 lbs.
Hometown: Kailua, Hawaii

Taurus is a promising Hawaiian fighter with a perfect 3-0 record.  He has steamrolled his opponents to date, taking each down with a big slam before unloading a devastating ground and pound attack.  He also plays a mean ukulele!

Herb Dean
Height: 6’1”
Weight: 205 lbs.
Hometown:  Pasadena, California
MMA Record: 2-2-0  (win-loss-draw)

Herb is better known as one of the top referees in the sport.  Dean has laid down the law in many big bouts for promotions including UFC, EliteXC and many others.  Dean is also a Heavyweight fighter, and is hungry for competition. 

Jamiah “The King” Williamson
Height: 6’ (183cm)
Weight: 205 lbs. (93 kg)
Hometown: Anaheim, California
MMA Record: 2-0-0  (win-loss-draw)

Jamiah has a strong boxing background and heavy hands.  He is undefeated with both wins coming by way of TKO.  When asked about why he is nicknamed “The King”, Jamiah replied, “It is because I give my opponents a royal ass whoopin!”

Middleweight Fighters

Clark “The Irish Bulldog” Bevans
Height: 5’7”
Weight: 185 lbs. (84 kg)
Hometown: Huntington Beach, California

The aptly nicknamed Bevans is an accomplished wrestler who loves to charge his
opponent, take him down and beat him into submission with a devastating
ground and pound attack.  To date, Bevans has a perfect 4-0 record in MMA
competition.  He is known for utilizing impressive and devastating slams to
take his opponent down; making Clark a very exciting fighter to watch.  “The Irish
Bulldog” always has some added inspiration when he fights.  That is because
his wife Erin Toughill (a top ranked female MMA fighter) is in his corner for every
fight.

Mavrick “The Soul Collector” Harvey
Height: 5’10”
Weight: 190 lbs. (86 kg)
Hometown: Arcadia, California
MMA Record: 8-1-1  (win-loss-draw)

Mavrick, complete with his tattooed eyebrows, is one of the most imposing and charismatic fighters in MMA today.  Mavrick, also known as “The Soul Collector” prides himself on being a street fighter who will stop at nothing to defeat his opponent.  The Southern California native has traveled the globe representing Valor while competing in K-1 live events in Japan and France.  “The Soul Collector” has collected some championship gold during his career as well.  In fact, he is the longest reigning Kage Kombat Light Heavyweight Champion in history.  To date, he has had a firm grip on the belt and has bested all challengers for over five years!  Mavrick has a unique bond with his loyal following of fans.  As he puts it, every time he steps into battle, it is, “To the people, with the people, for the people.

Kengo “The Japanese Warrior” Ura
Height: 5’9” (175 cm)
Weight: 185 lbs. (84 kg)
Hometown: El Segundo, California
MMA Record: 8-1-1  (win-loss-draw)

Originally from Ishikawa, Japan, Ura now represents Valor while fighting out of El Segundo, CA.  His specialty is Shooto in which he was crowned  Amateur Champion.  The “Japanese Assassin” has knock out power in his punches.  Kengo scored his biggest victory to date when he forced veteran fighter Shannon “The Cannon” Ritch to submit to a heel hook in the first round.

Welterweight Fighters

Drew “The Master” Fickett
Height: 5’10” (178 cm)

Hometown: Tucson, Arizona
MMA Record: 28-5-0  (win-loss-draw)

Drew “The Master” Fickett is a very skilled fighter with a good look.  Drew has an impressive 28-5-0 record in professional MMA competition.  His experience in UFC makes him very marketable as well.  Speaking of which, Fickett has done extremely well while competing in high profile UFC fights.  Notable wins include victories over Josh Neer, Josh Koscheck and Josh Burkman on UFC Ultimate Fight Night specials.  Fickett also holds a victory over UFC’s Kenny Florian. 

Lightweight Fighters

Chris “The Westside Strangler” Brennan
Height: 5’8” (173 cm)
Weight: 155 lbs. (70 kg)
Hometown: Mission Viejo, California
MMA Record: 18-11-1  (win-loss-draw)

Brennan is one of the most effective and prolific submission fighters in the world.  His nickname, “The Westside Strangler” came as a result of the frequency in which he chokes out his opponents.  Brennan has an MMA record of 18-11-1 (15 wins by submission).  Chris is a veteran of Pride and UFC.   

Enoch Wilson

Hometown: Beaverton, Oregon

Female Fighters

Leiticia Pestova
Height: 5’5”
Weight: 120 lbs.
Hometown: Phoenix, Arizona

Leiticia is a tough fighter who never backs down.  She made history by competing in the first ever sanctioned female MMA fight held in Nevada, taking on Gina Carano.  Pestova is very attractive; she also is a fashion model.

Erin Toughill
Height: 5’10”  (178 cm)
Weight: 165 lbs. (75 kg)
Hometown: Huntington Beach, CA
MMA Record: 7-2-1  (win-loss-draw)

Considered by many to be the top female MMA fighter in the world. The boxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu specialist has an MMA record of 7-2-1 (one loss was by disqualification).  Erin’s biggest win came in 2004 when she knocked out Marlose Coenon in round one of a bout in Japan.  At the time, Coenon had a perfect 11-0 record, and was the #1 ranked female fighter in the world.
