VALOR scores huge as TANK & KIMO both win at The Rumble on the Rock 7,

possible TANK vs. KIMO fight on the horizon?

Tank Abbott and Kimo had a lot to prove going into their big fights Saturday night, as Valor Fighting sent them to fight at The Rumble on the Rock 7.  Kimo won a tough fight against “The Monster” Marcus Royster, while Tank Abbott knocked out Wesley “Cabbage” Correira.

“I can’t say that I was surprised to see both men win convincingly at The Rumble on the Rock” says Valor co-owner Rick Bassman.  “We like to bring the best to our fans, and fans worldwide, and Tank & Kimo definitely fall into this category.  We are very proud of both fighters and look forward to having them represent Valor Fighting in the future.”

Eddy Millis, co-owner of Valor echoed Bassman’s sentiments, “We brought them to Hawaii to win and they did just that.  We want the best in the world representing us, and our fans, and we’re glad that both fighters showed what they still have.  A lot of people counted them out, but they showed great determination, and heart, not to mention some muscle to prove the doubters wrong.”

Kimo had a good fight in Royster, and undefeated “Monster” who was looking to make a name for himself versus a legend in the MMA world.  Royster quickly realized why Kimo is in fact a legend.  As far as Tank, there was certainly no love lost in this fight, as both fighters disliked one another.  Abbott caught “Cabbage” with a trademark sledgehammer right hand.  Correira had made it clear that he could not be knocked out with one punch prior to the fight.  Not this time, as Abbott KO’d him and after the fight made a challenge to fellow Valor representative Kimo!

Both of these fighters had great fights on May 7, and have had great careers.  Could two of the biggest stars in the history of MMA be on a path to face each other, in what would no doubt be a Superfight of epic proportions.  Valor fans and MMA fans alike would be clamoring for a match such as this.

So will Valor see two of the best the world has seen, both representing Valor be going one on one soon?  Only time will tell, but one thing is for sure, Tank vs. Kimo are on a roll, and a fight between the two would surly be a fight for the ages.
